We hope you all enjoyed this whimsical, social adventure as much as we did. We can't wait to see what new adventures next year will bring!
For people curious about this event, it is for the adventure seeker. It occurs in August each year and glass floats are hidden around West Seattle in participating businesses and local parks. Clues on where to find these floats are posted on the West Seattle Junction and West Seattle Chamber of Commerce Instagram accounts.
Float hunters should look high and low for beautiful glass balls peeking out through the mesh of a knotted net bag. Each float will be labeled with a tag so the finder can register their float via the QR code on the tag. The West Seattle Junction Association and the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce will post the winner on their Instagram accounts and tag the business sponsor where the float was found. This helps congratulate the finders and celebrate our businesses!
