Our friends at
KEXP just announced
West Seattle as the winner of their
Hood-to-Hood Challenge. They’ll be broadcasting on
May 29th and will have performances by John Darnielle of
the Mountain Goats,
Telekinesis, &
SISTERS (who are also going to be performing at
Summer Fest)! There will be a free street festival with bands, booths, and a beer garden.
This event is FREE, all ages, and open to the public!
The fun doesn’t stop after the broadcast is over: KEXP’s DJs plan to take over the neighborhood, spinning at various venues around West Seattle – plus two great nighttime concerts!
