The Designer is In at Capers!

CAPERS Home, West Seattle’s home, gift and everything store has added design services to its list of benefits offered to customers. Two new designers have joined the staff, and they are ready and waiting to answer your design questions. To kick off the new program, CAPERS is offering Speed Design, a free 30-minute design consultation where customers can present our designers with a single design problem and be set on a plan to fix it. Designers can also provide in-home consultation and appointments in the store for choosing furniture, paint color, room arrangements or even tablescaping. Our two designers come from different industries to give the team a broad and balanced outlook. Teresa Holsberry hails from Tennessee. She has worked many years in commercial design and sales and has recently moved to the residential side of design. She has a BFA in ID from the University of Memphis and is a professional member of ASID. Marguerite is a 2009 Graduate of the Interior Design Program at Bellevue Community College. She has been in the creative side of things for years in merchandising, special events and floral design. You may recognize her, she is a longtime West Seattle resident. CAPERS is now prepared to offer design classes and events. On March 8th and March 19th, Find Your Design Style,  provides two hours of perusing magazines, fabrics, inspiring visuals, and then creating your own style notebook.  You’ll leave with inspiration and a renewed sense of your true style. Coming up March 12th and March 24th: How to Buy a Sofa-a class created to demystify furniture industry terms and point out the important things to look for when purchasing furniture.
