What do you like about doing business in The Junction? We really like the support we get from the West Seattle Community. We have been in business at this same location for 19 years! Who are you customers? We have many local customers. However, now that we are specializing in sleeper sofas, we draw many customers from all over Western Washington and many out of state customers as well. What’s something people might not know about your business? We specialize in sleeper sofas and ship them all over the country! We sell more sleeper sofas than anywhere else! What are the challenges of owning an independent business? We work a lot of hours since we are a retail business; we don’t get out of town much! There is also the challenge of making our business “unique.” What other Junction shops do you like to patron? Our favorites are NW Art & Frame, Bakery Nouveau, Husky Deli, Friends & Co., Liberty Bell, Jan’s Beauty Supply and Azuma Sushi – to name a few! What do you love about West Seattle? We love walking down the street and knowing the other merchants. The community support here is great. We have great honest, happy, easy-going customers. What sort of music do you listen to? Mostly, we appreciate the silence, but often listen to the soundtrack to Mamma Mia! on the way home.]]>
