It’s a lovely, rainy Seattle evening and what better way to spend it than to come out for West Seattle Art Walk from 6 to 9 pm! So grab a hot coffee on your way, stop in West 5 for a complimentary glass of bubbly or drop in Elliott Bay for a complimentary 5 oz taster. Get your umbrellas out and get ready to cruise The Junction. Shoofly Pie featured artist: Jennifer Hatters is a painter and photographer. Her paintings involve a process of layering paint with a texturing compound before allowing them to dry enough to then begin sanding and scraping away at the layers to reveal the colors beneath. “I love the contrast between random and controlled, between faded, layered background and strong, bold, black lines.
