It’s the most magical time of year in West Seattle Junction, and we’ve packed the season with festive events, local shopping, and joyful community traditions. Whether you’re hunting for the perfect gift, snapping photos with Santa, or sipping cocoa under twinkling lights, there’s something for everyone this holiday season.

🎄 Saturday, November 29th
- Shop Small Saturday – during merchant business hours. Varies by location.
Kick off your holiday shopping by supporting local businesses in the Junction. Find unique gifts and make a difference in your community by shopping small!
🎄 Thursday, December 4th
- Meet the Big Man Himself – 5:30-7:30P
Santa Claus is coming to the Junction! Stop by for a holiday selfie, share your wish list, and soak in the magic of the season. - Santa’s Elves Are Coming to Town – 5:30-7:30P
Santa’s cheerful helpers will be wandering the Junction with Santa spreading holiday joy with candy. - Better Than Brass – 5:30-7P
Feel the rhythm of the season with this lively band performing in front of Key Bank starting at 5:30 PM. It’s the perfect soundtrack for your holiday shopping spree!
🎄 Saturday, December 6th
- Kiwanis Community Pancake Breakfast – 7-11A
From 7-11A at Alki Masonic Center, 4736 40th Ave SW (not in the Junction but including here to support). Enjoy a hearty breakfast, free Santa photos for kids, and a Toys for Tots collection to spread holiday joy. This is a ticketed event – pre-sale $8, at the door $10, kids under 10 eat free with a paid adult
- Tree Lighting & Holiday Night Market – 4-8P
From 4 PM to 8 PM, enjoy a magical evening on SW Alaska St. The event features:- A Holiday Night Market with handmade goods and holiday snacks.
- Live Entertainment with roaming elves and carolers – Endolyne Children’s Choir, School of Rock House Band, Metropolitan Singers), Santa, an emcee, three live music acts, a DJ to close out the night.
- A 21+ Beverage Garden to keep spirits bright.
- A Pet Costume Contest sure to warm your heart.
- The Tree Lighting Ceremony to bring holiday cheer to the Junction – scheduled for 6P
🎄 December 10th–23rd
- Holiday Room Selfies – 10-6P daily
Head to Curious Kidstuff for a magical photo opportunity in a festive holiday room. Drop your letter to Santa in the special North Pole mailbox, and enter to win a giant PomPom Penguin (valued at $359.99)!
🎄 Thursday, December 11th
- Silver Bell Carolers Return – 5:30-7:30P
Their voices will keep the holiday spirit alive as you shop, stroll, and sip your way through the Junction. Specifically be on the lookout in front of Northwest Art & Frame, Capers, the old Jaks location and Elliott Bay Brewing. - Santa’s Elves Are Coming to Town – 5:30-7:30P
Santa’s cheerful helpers will be wandering the Junction, spreading holiday joy with candy and sharing insider tips on where to spot Santa before the big day! - Art Walk and Art of Music – 5-:7:30P
Look out for Junction merchants hosting local artists for ArtWalk and live music for the Art of Music. Discover one-of-a-kind pieces for the art lover on your list—or yourself!

- 1 PM to 3 PM visit Curious Kidstuff to share your wish list with Santa in person
🎄 Sunday, December 14th
- Cocoa & Coat Drive – 10A-2P
From 10 AM to 2 PM, help those in need by donating new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves, with the Kiwanis. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa courtesy of Husky Deli. Located in front of Key Bank at California Ave SW and SW Alaska St. - Bloodworks West Seattle Junction Blood Drive – 9A-3P
