The Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Full Moon Party and Will Call for March will be held on Saturday, March 19th, from 7:30pm ’til 10:00pm. If you’d like to get to know Black Phoenix – known as BPAL to its many fans – a full moon party is a great place to start. BPAL fans are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and incredibly generous with helping newbies to the line. Plus, there’s cake!
Perfume 101 will be held on Sunday, March 27th this month from 5:00pm – 6:30pm. Cost is $15, $10 of which can be applied toward any purchase made that night. It covers fragrance history, perfume styles and composition, and it’s generally just a nice introduction to a fascinating topic. Care to guess which note is coming for our special topic class in March? We’ve chosen a beverage that’s hugely popular in Ireland: tea. (Fun fact: Ireland actually drinks more tea per capita than any other country.) Not unlike the beverage, tea has an incredible range in perfumery, and we’ll spend some time discovering the different styles out there. Class is on Thursday, March 31st from 7:00pm ’til 8:00pm. Cost for this one is $20, and includes a sample package with a focus on tea-based fragrances. Upcoming classes: citrus, vanilla, florals, woods, spices. We’ll keep you posted!
On special for March: So, we are particularly picky – persnickety even! – about our scrubs and other bath products. A friend from the Bay Area used to send care packages from a local shop called Sumbody, and now we are thrilled to carry them here at Knows! To celebrate: buy two Sumbody products, get one free for the rest of March. Warning: the bon bon salt scrubs are seriously habit-forming. Give ’em a go!
