Let Them Eat Cake at Knows Perfume April 2nd!
Marie Antoinette was certainly known for her extravagant tastes, and like many aristocrats of her era, a love of perfume. In 2006, Versailles released a scent that approximated one of the Queen’s favorite formulas, made by the royal perfumer before the French Revolution. The scent includes notes of rose, iris, jasmine, orange blossom and sandalwood. If you’re a scent lover (or just love to eat cake) come chat about fragrances and perfumes of all eras with Christen at Knows Perfume, Saturday, April 2nd from 6 to 9 pm, while enjoying beautiful and decadent cakes made by Baked., a new commercial bakery in the Triangle neighborhood…All cakes will be decorated in a grand style befitting a queen, come sample Red Velvet, Lavender, Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate while sipping champagne and sniffing the gorgeous perfumes carried by Knows. Baked. and Knows will be holding raffles for $50 gift certificates for cakes and perfume. *Photo: Baked.]]>
