Cupcake Royale is excited to announce that Deathcake Royale is once again back in The Junction, but only for a limited time! What is Deathcake Royale you might be asking? It’s only the most decadent, sea-salt sprinkled, dark chocolate confection around! Cupcake Royale recently improved the recipe and changed the way that it’s presented:
“Coming to you in a whole new form, the bakers have made it portable and re-heatable. Rich sea-salted dark chocolate decadence (flourless cake) is slow poached in a mason jar and baked to perfection. Next, a layer of our award-winning chocolate cake is placed directly on top of the decadence. The next layer is a smooth Stumptown espresso chocolate ganache and finished off with a sprinkling of delicate chocolate curls. Decadent? You bet.”
You can also get Deathcake in a gluten-free version, making it the perfect treat for any Chocoholic! The traditional chocolate cake is replaced with Cupcake Royale’s award-winning gluten-free chocolate cake. It’s still every bit as delicious and decadent!

Deathcake Royale is coming back just in time for Valentine’s Day. Have a secret crush, neighbor, sweetie, co-worker, pal, life coach, family member, teacher and/or boss you’d like to impress or treat? This is the perfect way to really show them you love them to death. The Deathcake will be available starting January 18 through February 14 at Cupcake Royale cafes, like the one here in The Junction. Did we mention that it’s also shippable? Send someone you love a little piece of Seattle and treat them to this unique chocolate experience. Since each Deathcake is baked directly in a jar, it makes sharing, gifting, and enjoying that much easier. You can even heat them up in the oven or microwave to enjoy ooey, gooey warm melted chocolate goodness!
