Get ready for one of West Seattle’s favorite fall traditions! The streets of the Junction will be packed with family fun, festive energy, and community spirit during this year’s Harvest Fest.
The West Seattle Farmers Market will fill the north block (north of Alaska), while the Harvest Fest activities take over the south block — with sidewalk trick-or-treating throughout both! Bring the kids in costume, invite your neighbors, and spend the day celebrating fall in the heart of West Seattle.
Event Schedule

Costume Parade led by the West Seattle High School Marching Band
Kick off the festival in style! Line up in costume and join the parade as it winds through the Junction, filling the streets with music, color, and community pride.
🕚 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Activity Booths + Sidewalk Trick-or-Treating + Free Kids’ Area + Cornhole Games
Explore activity booths hosted by local businesses and community groups, enjoy trick-or-treating all along California Ave, and check out the free kids’ play area, by Hope Lutheran, featuring cornhole and other games for all ages!

Chili Cook-Off
Taste your way through nine local favorites competing for the title of Best Chili in West Seattle! For $20, you’ll get a flight of chili samples and a voting token to crown your favorite. All proceeds benefit the West Seattle Food Bank.

Rain City Ropeworks Performance – All-Ways Intersection
This talented local jump rope team always brings the energy — don’t miss their incredible tricks and team routines!

Seattle Thrillers Performance – All-Ways Intersection
A fan favorite returns! The Seattle Thrillers will dance their spooky hearts out in a high-energy tribute to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. THEN, they will invite community members to join in the fun!

Pie-Eating Contest + Chili Cook-Off Winner Announcement
Cheer on contestants in this delicious (and messy!) showdown hosted by A La Mode Pies. Then, stick around as we reveal this year’s Chili Champion!

Halloween House Music with Jack Chandelier
Close out the festival with fun, Halloween themed tunes from local West Seattleite Jack Chandelier — perfect for dancing, people-watching, and soaking in those fall vibes.
