Seattle Beer Week May 19th-29th Events in The Junction… @ The Beer Junction, Friday May 20th (6-8pm): Tasting event with Ross Chalstrom of Iron Horse Brewing, Sunday May 22nd (1-3pm): Cider Afternoon with Burc McFarlane of Spire Cider, Monday May 23rd (6-8pm): Palate Rehab Clinic with Jhon Gilroy of specialty beer importer Merchant Du Vin, Tuesday May 24th (3-5pm): Exploration of Hops with Sierra Nevada brewer Terrence Sullivan, Wednesday May 25th (6-8pm): Beer & Cheese with Cody Morris of Epic Ales, Thursday May 26th (6-8pm): Tasting event with Fish and Leavenworth Breweries with Burc McFarlane, Friday May 27th (5-7pm): Tasting event with Charles Finkel, owner of Pike Brewing. @Elliott Bay Brewery, Tuesday, May 24th at 4pm: Batch 1000 in West Seattle! This event is the first opportunity to taste the 1000th brew out of  West Seattle! Elliott Bay split the batch four ways and aged each portion in a different oak barrel: One was a Syrah wine barrel; one with tart cherries; one with a blend of Lambicus yeast; and one completely fermented in oak with a blend of yeast similar to that used to brew Rodenbach.
