WS Farmers Market Boxing Day Dec 26th!

The West Seattle Farmers Market will be open Sunday, Dec. 26th and Sunday, Jan. 2nd, 2011. Please join us for a special “Boxing Day” at the West Seattle Farmers Market on Sunday, December 26th. Farmers have been encouraged to provide good deals in boxes all day long to market shoppers. Lucky loyal West Seattle shoppers can benefit big time!!! Lots of great winter goodies to choose from including: sweet onions, specialty dried shelling beans (for excellent soups), fennel, beets, potatoes, carrots, garlic, braising greens, parsnips, potatoes, winter squashes, apples, pears…plus sustainably-raised meats, poultry and cheeses. Special items on the market tables: Mead and ciders from Rockridge, frozen organic cherries from Tonnemaker, dried herbs including oregano, rosemary and catnip (makes a calming tea for humans, or a fun treat for felines). The Farmers Market is open every Sunday, year-round, rain or shine!  Hours are 10 am – 2 pm.
