The Holiday Spirit – Get it on!
Get in the Spirit with Hometown Holidays – Tree Lighting on Saturday
Tree lighting, Santa photos, carriage rides, gift shopping—if you’re not in the holiday spirit, The Junction’s Hometown Holidays events are sure to fix that. Here’s just a sampling of how we’ll help get your ho-ho-ho on:
Saturday, December 5, 5 p.m.: Hometown Holidays Tree Lighting

It’s the main event: the 6th Annual Tree Lighting Event featuring music, entertainment, and a chance to win $6500 or tickets to Stevens Pass Ski Resort. Farmers Market Parking Lot, 44th and Alaska Ave SW.
Sunday, December 6, Noon-4 p.m.: Santa Photos, Gift Wrap, and Carriage Rides
Now we’re really getting in the spirit with professional Santa photos by Donna Ryan Photography (a suggested $10 donation will go to West Seattle charities) and gift-wrapping by Swee Swee Paperie. At the Hometown Holidays Headquarters, 4218 SW Alaska (around the corner from Cupcake Royale).
Also from noon-4, enjoy a traditional carriage ride down California pulled by beautiful Belgium Draft Mules. Depart on California in front of KeyBank.
And don’t forget, Thursday December 10, 6-9 p.m. is our annual Art Walk & Shop Late. Fantastic art, drinks and snacks, and lots of places to buy local for the holidays. We’ll be there with jingle bells on!]]>
