Every year CAPERS sponsors this event to help those in our neighborhood who are less fortunate. The CAPERS Giving Tree benefits Hickman House, a local transitional housing program for women and children who are recovering from domestic violence. Participating is easy.

  1. Choose a star from our tree at our location in West Seattle.
  2. Purchase the wish
  3. Return your gift to CAPERS by 12/22, just in time for holiday giving (no giftwrap needed!)
DID YOU KNOW? Hickman House is fully furnished 10-unit apartment complex and transitional housing program for survivors of domestic violence. Hickman House’s mission is to help transition families exiting emergency shelter back to self-sufficient living. During 6 to 24 month stays, Hickman House allows families time to gather resources to become economically independent and to strengthen their social support systems while living in a safe, supportive environment.   About CAPERS CAPERS is the home entertaining and gift shop in the West Seattle Junction that features locally sourced, eco-friendly and fairly-traded products to make your house a home.
