Campout for a Cause

Campout for a Cause; Feed those in need this Holiday Season. The Holiday season is particularly difficult for those in need and the West Seattle Food Bank needs help now more than ever. It is with this in mind there is a  ‘Campout for a Cause’ food drive in the West Seattle Hotwire Coffee Parking Lot (4410 California Ave SW) this Friday evening 12/2 through Saturday 12/03/16. The goal is to fill the staging area with non-perishable food donations from the greater West Seattle Community folks and businesses. They will also be accepting cash, check and charge donations on site in lieu of food. All proceeds go to the Food Bank. This effort is being organized by Owen Wright of Wright Innovations & Design, E. Glenn Leimbacher of PromoShop, and the Hotwire Coffee folks. “We are always looking for ways to help the community” said Owen Wright, “Combining my love of camping out rain or shine with the needs of the West Seattle Food Bank is a big winner in my mind”. “We’ll be out there with tents, sleeping bags, and a fire pit making S’mores for those who come by and donate”. He added. The Campout will coincide with the Junction Christmas Tree Lighting so why not come on out and make a night of it. Shop, Donate, and get into the Holiday Spirit.
