West Seattle Junction’s Hometown Holidays Schedule of Events

West Seattle Junction will be full of the holiday spirit with three weeks of jubilant festivities for our neighborhood and visitors a like.  Please join us!

  TREE LIGHTING Saturday, December 1 Time: 5PM The Junction presents our 9^th Annual Tree Lighting Event.  It’s a community event for family, friends and neighbors.  It will be held in Junction Plaza Park at 42^nd and Alaska. HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS HEADQUARTERS December 2, 9, 16 Time: 11-3PM Meet us in front of Key Bank for festivities, fun for kids, and information on shopping, the Holiday Raffle, and neighborhood events.  MEET SANTA Santa is coming to The Junction to listen to your children’s Christmas requests at City Mouse Studio and Store (4218 SW Alaska). December 2 * Time:  11AM-3PM BRING YOUR CAMERA Santa and his helpers are here!  No photographer but the stage is set for meeting Santa and capturing your own special moment.  The Junction Association will donate 100% of your donation to West Seattle charities. December 9, 16 * Time:  11AM-3PM Professional Photos Professional Santa photos and printing.  The Junction Association will donate 100% of your suggested donation of $15 or more to West Seattle charities. MULE CARRIAGE RIDES December 2, 16 Time: 11-3PM Take a traditional carriage ride down California Ave pulled by beautiful Belgium Draft Mules.  This is a treat to enjoy with the whole family and friends. SHOP LATE THURSDAYS Every Thursday thru Dec. 20 Want an evening shopping alternative to stuffy malls?  Many Junction retailers are open ‘till 9pm on Thursdays.  Pair with happy hour and you’ve got a great night out! West Seattle Art Walk – December 13 FREE GIFT WRAP STATION Saturdays, December 15 and 22 Time: 11:30-3:30 Let us wrap your Junction gifts!  The West Seattle High School Music Program parents will staff our gift wrap station at Windermere (4526 California Ave) while the students perform in The Junction.  Please bring Junction retailer receipt.  FREE wrap and ribbon, no boxes provided.
