Portrait Doll Making at Twilight Gallery & Boutique

KOOK Teflon, who specializes in portrait dolls inspired by Edgar Allan Poe to Boy George and exhibits nationally, will be at Twilight Gallery and Boutique on August 11th, from 12-4pm to give a hands on training on how to create your own portrait doll.  Details from Twilight’s website are below:


Class description: In this doll making workshop you will create hand-stitched dolls from a portrait! Lecture and lots of sewing! Please bring your own materials to class.

Materials needed: Fabric ( a favorite article of clothing or special piece that you don’t mind cutting up)

Stuffing (found at craft stores)

Scissors Needle and Thread (multiple colors)

Portrait photo (you will make a doll in this image)

Space is limited to make sure you sign up for the class! The fee for the class is $75.
