Great gift for any mom. Fresh flowers, plants and produce, you say? Now open for business, West Seattle Produce, located at 4755 Fauntleroy Way SW, serving up high quality, hand-picked produce, flowers and plants for you and your mom! They are open as of today, Friday, April 30th from 8am-8pm, with their grand opening set for June 5-6. And of course every Sunday, you can also get fresh produce, flowers and goodies at the West Seattle Farmers Market. This Sunday, May 2nd, from 10am-1pm, kids can get their hands dirty planting various seeds, flowers and wheat grass for their own gardens at home.  Folks can learn more about the growing cycle of seeds and have fun grinding eggshells to add nutrients to the soil. This event is free and open to the public.  The West Seattle Farmers Market takes place every Sunday (year round), outdoors in the parking lot behind Key Bank, off of the corner of California and Alaska. Enjoy your shopping and frolicking for May Day in The Junction this weekend!]]>
